What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy working around children and watching them grasp information. Being able to support them when they're unsure always makes me so happy.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am patient but firm and I can usually tell when someone is unsure. Meaning I can help them at a separate time or stop the class and clarify immediately. Not only that but I think I work very well with children, as I have helped coached swimming before.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the lack of judgment. Encouraging students to ask questions and to clarify their doubts always makes a good learning environment.

About Rae-Anne

Athlete

I was a professional athlete for the majority of my life, so I definitely know a thing or two about good time management and how to help your child with that as well. A good tutor can help both in life and school.

Clear Communicator and Confident Youth Leader

Through hosting live-streamed sports events and participating in youth dialogue sessions with senior leaders, this tutor has developed strong public-speaking and communication skills. She knows how to break information down clearly and keep an audience engaged, whether that’s a room of adults or a shy primary school student. As a project chairperson, she learned to give clear instructions, organise others, and manage responsibilities—skills she now channels into guiding students step by step through challenging Maths and English concepts.

Motivating Role Model Who Connects with Young Learners

Rae-Anne has coached younger beneficiaries in artistic swimming and regularly volunteers at youth-focused community events, so she is used to working patiently with children and teens of different abilities. She uses sports examples, goal-setting techniques, and simple routines to make studying feel more manageable and less intimidating. This tutor understands pressure, setbacks, and nerves, and she helps students build resilience and confidence, not just better marks—especially those who benefit from encouragement from someone closer to their age.
