What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I love most about tutoring is the joy I feel when my students finally reach the goals they've been working so hard to achieve. It's such a wonderful moment to see their hard work and dedication pay off, especially after all the time and effort they've invested. Each small step they take is a big victory, and celebrating those successes together makes it all the more special! It's moments like these that remind me why I enjoy tutoring so much and why I cherish the connections I build with my students.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor really shine through in my patience, understanding, and passion for the subjects I teach. Having been on both sides of the tutoring experience, I know exactly how it feels to be a student and a tutor, which helps me connect with my students in a meaningful way. This firsthand experience allows me to create a friendly and supportive atmosphere where students can feel comfortable sharing their questions and concerns, making learning enjoyable for my students.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do is be a fantastic role model for their students, inspiring them not just academically but also in life. They can help students develop important skills like time management and perseverance through their own experiences. Tutors are great resources for advice on both schoolwork and personal challenges. This relaxed dynamic allows students to share their worries easily, whether about tough subjects or exam stress. Having gone through similar situations themselves, tutors can provide relatable tips and support.

We worked through some questions including equations with pronumerals that require two steps to solve. Bella seems to have understood this concept and is able to do similar questions independently. We started with inequalities and graphing to familiarise herself with the content before she goes through it in class.
Bella seems to be understanding the content well so far. She could benefit with some more revision on her division and practicing the concepts we learnt in class so she can be more confident.
