What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy watching students improve in topics they might not be confident in at first. If I can help a student succeed and even take an interest in a class they struggle with, I would consider that to be a very significant achievement. I also feel that tutoring helps to improve my own critical thinking because I get to understand the learning process of multiple students.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I know how to help students understand a topic without oversimplifying it, which some tutors and teachers can often struggle with. I also believe that the student's understanding is the priority, meaning they should be guided to think for themselves when solving a problem or trying to understand a topic.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Tutors must be able to carefully explain topics to a student, as well as understand the learning process of that student and help to improve it. This can be done by first understanding how a student attempts to learn concepts, and then helping the student improve any mistakes for the future. As captain of his high school Model UN and Debate clubs, this tutor regularly coached more than 20 students in researching topics, structuring arguments, and delivering clear, confident speeches. He has guided others in writing speeches and essays, which translates directly into support for English, especially persuasive and analytical writing. Dylan’s experience helping classmates practise and improve their work means he is patient, encouraging, and able to adapt explanations to different levels of ability.
