What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I want to help students understand mathematical concepts that their school may not teach them well. Through tutoring, I'm not only improving their marks but also their confidence and learning attitude, which I find meaningful.
Teaching different students also allows me to improve my communication skills, as I have to adapt my explanation to their learning styles, which I find interesting, as I can also learn from this experience.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
- I'm very patient with students so I'm ready to break down difficult concepts and explain them as simply as possible until students clearly understand the concepts. I also create a supportive and encouraging learning environment for students where they can freely ask questions and make mistakes since I believe this is essential for learning Maths.
- I'm an organised person so I always plan my lessons effectively to ensure that students can understand concepts better and feel more confident after class.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
- Help them improve academically and build their confidence.
- Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where they can freely ask questions and learn from their mistakes.
- Acknowledge that each student's learning ability is different and adapt the most suitable teaching style.
- Encourage independent thinking and logical reasoning rather than pure memorisation.
- Help students develop effective study habits through past study tips and how to handle exam stress.
