What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love using my professional strengths, patience and teaching skills to support other students. I gain a strong sense of achievement when I witness younger students make academic progress through my guidance. I have experienced adolescence myself, so I fully understand the study pressure teenagers carry. It feels extremely rewarding to share their stress and support them through difficult learning periods.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I own a distinctive international academic background. I received systematic junior high training in China covering nine core subjects, then completed a Nova Scotia Canadian High School Diploma with an average score higher than 95. I earned excellent marks in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Economics, which builds solid confidence for me to teach science related subjects. I combine solid foundational knowledge from Chinese intensive education and three years of international high school study. I can identify all tricky knowledge points for Australian primary and secondary students.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe a tutor should not only teach students exam oriented problem solving skills but also help them build positive learning mindsets. I once struggled with science subjects, so I understand how teenage troubles and academic setbacks can distract students. I can help them allocate energy reasonably between study and daily life, and guide them to plan for their future. I encourage students to master knowledge from underlying logic rather than memorising formulas mechanically, so they can truly understand how academic learning connects to real life.
