What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy working with children as I feel I can connect and learn with them well. I enjoy helping others and find myself naturally tutoring my friends in school already. I think that connecting with a student on a different level can build the relationship and make it fun for the both of us.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think that I have strong communication skills and I am very capable of altering my language/skills towards different audiences, for example, having a softer, more fun approach towards younger children, and then a more mentor mentee relationship with older children, whilst also maintaining a positive approach. I am able to chat with almost any age! A good strength for a tutor.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think helping to set and then achieve goals for specific students can be so helpful. Building study habits up now can be great for future students, which is why inputting personal experiences and strategies can be useful and important for students when setting their goals. I also think setting a good example for the student should be a priority, as they can tend to look up to you when you are placed above them in a teaching aspect. Being a good influence is important.

Slightly challenged at the idea of substituting but picked it up, needs practice to become quicker. Also needs assistance further for being able to visualise the graph as an approximation to understand a problem.
