What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
I enjoy helping students understand concepts that they previously found difficult and seeing their confidence improve. I genuinely enjoy teaching and interacting with people. It is rewarding to explain a problem in a clear way and watch a student become able to solve similar questions independently.
My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
My strengths are my mathematical ability, communication skills and patience. I participated in mathematics competitions in China and have previous teaching experience. My sales experience also taught me how to communicate with different people, listen carefully and explain information clearly. I can adapt my teaching style to each studentโs level and learning needs. My father is a university lecturer in electronic engineering, so education and teaching have also been an important influence in my life.
Most important things I can do for a student ๐
The most important role of a tutor is to help students build a strong and logical way of thinking about mathematics. Rather than simply teaching formulas or providing answers, a tutor should develop the studentโs problem-solving process and give them a reliable framework for approaching unfamiliar questions. I also believe a good tutor should nurture curiosity, help students discover the beauty and logic of mathematics, and gradually develop a genuine interest and confidence in the subject.
