What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I currently do not have experience in tutoring students. However, I often help my friends, siblings and peers to learn content they're struggling with.
I enjoy the moment when something finally "clicks" for someone, just like when it does for me. I also enjoy breaking things down in a way that suddenly makes problems feel simple. It's always really rewarding to see their confidence grow, and I feel very happy whenever I am able to help someone else. I also enjoy teaching others because it helps me understand different topic better too, so it feels like we are improving together.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my strengths is being patient and explaining things in different ways until the person actually understands it. I am able to adjust my teaching methods to the person I'm teaching so they can learn without feeling overwhelmed or lost. Because I'm still a student myself, I know what it's like to struggle with certain topics, so I can relate to students and make them feel comfortable asking questions.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing a tutor can do is to make the student feel supported, confident, and enjoy learning. I believe that it's not just about teaching them how to solve different problems, but also about creating a positive relationship so the student feels most confident, supported, and motivated when learning.
