What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Increasing students confidence even in areas they struggle with the most. I feel happy when students finally understand a topic they weren’t confident with.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am a very open-minded person and have a very friendly attitude. My strengths as a tutor would include breaking down steps to ensure students can follow through with the instructions and problems. Answer students questions to ensure they feel heard and that way I would know more about each students learning style and adapt my teaching accordingly. I would say giving meaning to the work we are doing so that they understand that the knowledge learnt can be applied in real life and is meaningful

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Give them reassurance and be patient with them on the learning topics they aren’t very confident about. Guide them through steps at the pace they understand. Build genuine professional relationships with students so they feel confident with asking questions rather than feel ashamed for not knowing subject knowledge.
