What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I like to help students unlock maths that seems hard at first. It is satisfying to see students gain confidence, improve their problem solving skills and develop a more positive attitude towards maths.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My strengths are my strong knowledge of maths, my patience, and my ability to explain concepts in simple step-by-step ways. I can teach according to different learning styles and can use real-world examples to assist learners in comprehending the method and reasoning behind an answer.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The tutor must identify the studentβs learning gaps, explain concepts clearly and provide appropriate practice and feedback. It is also important to develop a supportive environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions, to make mistakes, and to slowly become independent and confident learners.

About Khan Md
Maths, English & Technology β Grades 7 to 12
I'm a PhD researcher in healthcare informatics, where I spend my days writing code, working through statistics, and communicating complex ideas in writing which is why I'm comfortable tutoring across maths, English, software development, information processing, and engineering studies. I tutor because I remember what it felt like when a subject seemed like a wall of arbitrary rules, and I know how quickly that changes once a student sees why something works. My approach is patient and diagnostic: I find the exact point where understanding broke down, rebuild from there, and give students the confidence to attempt problems they'd previously have skipped. Whether it's a Year 8 student struggling with algebra or a Year 12 student polishing an essay or a programming assessment, I tailor each session to how that particular student thinks.
