About Nayla
Who am I?
Hello! I'm Thya, a passionate 18 year old Law student who has a background very focused on academics and passions. I love working with people who strive to be forever curious, and work towards that for people who struggle with it. On that note, a few academically relevant things about me is that I have finished the Kumon courses, I have completed a VET course in legal admin work, along with scoring a high ATAR through the SACE curriculum. In extracurriculars, I have done mock trials, netball, and have participated in a few maths, writing and art competitions/clubs when I was younger.
My Teaching Experience
I have taught at a Saturday school as an assisting teacher, along with being a tutor at Kumon (Maths + English)! I have experience with children between ages 4-15 in terms of formal tutoring. Informally, I have been teaching my younger brother, friends, and family friends' children for a little while longer in subjects such as English, Mathematics, Legal Studies, Business, or even Film/Art studies. As far as it goes, I have been able to connect with students well, and am able to break down ideas for easier understanding. I have an immense passion for teaching and sharing knowledge, due to my belief that education is a must-have in today's society, and all children deserve to have the chance to conquer this world in their own unique ways.
My Passion in Law and Business
I study Law and Business as a combined degree at Flinders University. I've always been a hardworking, dedicated student and mentor due to my inherently curious nature, and have developed a passion for the legal system and the people within it. I also enjoy curating new things from being an artist, hence why I also enjoyed business subjects like commerce and business innovation. I love exploring new ideas and theories with other people - and in solitude - and love bringing out the best in whoever I work with!
