Savva has started writing down important information to make better sense of questions.

There could still be some improvements in his working, for example making clearer notes to himself as to what each number represents and what he needs to do with them.

Savva was organised and brought a copy of his test to the session. He seems to have done very well, and he thinks he only got one question wrong, which he could answer when we reviewed it.

Again, Savva needs to be proud of his achievements and acknowledge his strengths. With more confidence, he won't need "prompting" to answer questions, as in my opinion he is already developing the tools to do this himself.

Savva now organises most of his thoughts on paper without prompting, and was able to apply his knowledge of ratios to rates questions. He also brought in questions from class which show his increased commitment to learning.

Savva could use some more practice with multiple step problems. He needs to learn how to plan the steps to solve the problem before he starts, so that he doesn't get confused by all the numbers midway through solving.

Savva quickly picked up the concept, is getting good at writing down key information to keep on track and can simplify ratios well.

Self-confidence could be improved, as Savva sometimes doesn't get the answer because he second guesses himself.
