What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I've been tutoring since I was in school myself. Back then it was a way for me to keep my brain active and stay on top of my own coursework. But now I just enjoy the process of it. Helping kids understand concepts gives me incredible gratification and it's too cute seeing the sparkle in their eyes when they understand something just right. Also kids are too funny most of the time so they make the best company!

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I would say patience, active listening and good communication are traits that I am proud of having. It's important to have the right kind of conversation with the student and listen to them with patience to actually understand their capabilities, what they have understood and what course of action you need to take as their mentor.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Be their friend. They have teachers who give lectures and check their assignments at school. They don't need another one of those. They need someone they can talk to. The key is to show that you're learning with them and it doesn't hurt to make it fun at times.
