What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is the satisfaction of knowing that I’ve helped someone overcome something they were struggling with. I really enjoy that moment when a student goes from being confused or unsure about a concept to finally understanding it and feeling more confident. For me, tutoring isn’t just about helping someone get the right answer, but helping them understand the process and build confidence in their own abilities.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think one of my biggest strengths as a tutor is my adaptability. Having moved around quite a bit for most of my life, I’ve had to adjust to different environments, people, and ways of doing things, and I think that has made me very flexible. I understand that every student is different and that there isn’t one teaching method that works for everyone. Some students may prefer visual explanations, while others might learn better through examples, practice, or simply talking through a problem. I’m able to adapt my approach based on the individual student and figure out what works best for them.

I think one of the most important things a tutor can do is build a good relationship with their student and create an environment where they feel comfortable learning. Students should feel that they can ask questions, even if they think the question is simple or that they should already know the answer, without being afraid of being judged. I think building that trust is really important because once a student feels comfortable, they’re more likely to be honest about what they don’t understand and engage more actively in the lesson.
