What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy seeing students' confidence grow as they begin to understand complex ideas and find pride in their work. It's highly rewarding to see their progress, knowing I was able to make a difference in their learning.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I've created and adjusted lesson plans to suit each student's individual learning style. Through this, I am able to adapt to meet individual needs efficiently. I am highly organised. I create lesson plans a head of time with objectives based on students' goals with their learning.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do is help change students perspective on studying by introducing new to approach and solve challenging problems.

About Barbara
Strong Educational Background
Barbara is studying a double degree in Electrical Engineering (Honours)/Computer Science. She has a strong academic knowledge which equips her with the skills and knowledge to support students' academic journeys.
Leadership and Mentoring Experience
During high school, she served as a prefect and Peer Support Leader, consistently taking on leadership roles that required organisation, collaboration, and innovation.
This year, Barbara is a mentor in the UNSW Women in Engineering Mentorship Program, where she supports first-year students as they transition from high school to university. She also volunteers with Engineers Without Borders (EWB), working with a team of university students to organise and deliver STEM workshops to primary and high school students across Sydney.
