What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I genuinely enjoy working with children and find it very fun and rewarding to see them grow in confidence and achieve their goals.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my strengths are definitely patience, as I feel like I have the patience to be able to work with kids and help them with things they are struggling with, even if it takes a while for them to properly learn things. I also believe that I know how to communicate in a way with kids that can help simplify concepts that can otherwise be challenging or confusing. I also have both commercial and personal experience as a tutor for primary school students, in both maths and english (reading comprehension, writing, spelling, grammar, punctuation, verbal reasoning, etc).
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I strive to create a positive and supportive environment for kids where they do not hesitate or feel the need to think twice before asking me any questions. I find this very important. I remember when I was a kid in primary school myself, I would often find myself to be a little intimidated by my teachers or tutors, and this would result in me being too scared to ask any questions to further clarify my understanding, which would hinder my overall learning in a negative way as a result. Classes should be something the students can look forward to and enjoy, instead of something they dread.
