What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy that "lightbulb" moment when a student finally grasps a difficult concept after struggling with it. Seeing their confidence grow and watching them shift from feeling frustrated to genuinely understanding the material is incredibly rewarding.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My main strengths are my deep subject knowledge in VCE Maths Methods and Specialist Mathematics, combined with my ability to break complex problems down into simple, manageable steps. Having recently navigated the rigorous VCE system myself as a graduate of Nossal High School, and maintaining High Distinctions in university-level mathematics as an engineering undergraduate, I deeply understand the student perspective. This allows me to relate directly to the pressures students face, adapt to their individual learning paces and keep explanations practical and clear.

The most important thing a tutor can do is build a student's genuine self-belief rather than just teaching them to memorise formulas. A great tutor creates a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, fosters critical thinking and equips them with structured problem-solving skills that help them succeed independently.
