Experienced Maths Tutor (O & A Levels), Now Studying Finance & Business Analytics at USyd

Hi! I'm currently in my first year (2nd semester) at the University of Sydney, majoring in Finance and Business Analytics. I've been tutoring maths for over two years now, mostly O and A Level students, and I want to try working with a wider age range too, from Grade 3 up to Grade 11. I think maths gets a lot easier once you actually understand why something works instead of just memorising the steps, so that's usually where I focus. We'll work on things like checking your own work properly and talking through problems out loud when you're stuck, and I try to keep sessions relaxed so getting something wrong doesn't feel like a big deal — it's just part of figuring it out. I'll also keep you updated on how things are going so you're not left wondering.
