What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I feel great when I see other students get that light bulb moment in the physics classroom when an idea tics in their head. After personally having receiving year 11 and 12 physics tutoring I know how much of a difference it can make to a students engagement.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I love Physics. Being enthusiastic and humble about what I teach. I don’t claim to know everything as this wouldn’t help the students, especially given how fast the field is advancing (20 years ago we taught different things, and in the future current known concepts may change! Thankfully the Physics curriculum stays relatively unchanged :). I remember my experienced tutors wouldn’t just tell me all the answers, they used their understanding to guide me as to why things were a certain way.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Be in their shoes. And having once been in their shoes is also crucial or else you more likely will not have gone through their same struggles.
