Verified Tutor
What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I feel great when I see other students get that light bulb moment in the physics classroom when an idea tics in their head. After personally having receiving year 11 and 12 physics tutoring I know how much of a difference it can make to a students engagement. My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My main strength is explaining technical concepts clearly and step by step. I have a strong background in maths and physics, and experience through university, anatomy peer tutoring and technical customer service. I try to adjust my explanation to the person rather than assuming one approach works for everyone. Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Be in their shoes. And having once been in their shoes is also crucial or else you more likely will not have gone through their same struggles.Subjects Tutored 🎓

About Steven
Medical Radiation Science Student
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science in Nuclear Medicine, with studies across anatomy, physiology, medical imaging, radiation science and other technical subjects. I have always enjoyed mathematics and science, particularly understanding how concepts work rather than simply memorizing them.
Experienced in Peer Tutoring
Alongside my university studies, I have worked as an anatomy peer tutor, supporting other university students with their anatomical understanding. This has given me experience breaking difficult concepts into simpler steps, identifying where someone is getting stuck, and adapting the way I explain something until it makes sense.
Strong Communication & Reliability
I also bring several years of professional experience from Jaycar Electronics and Foil Drive. At Jaycar, I regularly explained complex electronics and technical concepts to customers with very different levels of knowledge. My work at Foil Drive further developed my organization, accuracy and reliability, which I bring into my approach to tutoring.
