What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy interacting with students and helping them understand new concepts. It especially rewarding to see their confidence grow and excitement when they finally overcome a challenging question. I also enjoy creating a positive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable learning and ask questions.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my strengths as a tutor are being patient, understanding and a good listener. I am able to adapt the way I explain concepts based each students' individual learning style. Being a responsible tutor also means coming well prepared before each session and making an effort to ensure each lesson is engaging, supportive and beneficial for the student.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Creating a supportive and respectful environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. A good tutor should also be a good listener to each student, understand their struggles and guide them towards finding the solutions rather than simply giving them the answers. It is also important to encourage and motivate students, especially when learning becomes challenging.

About Xin Ning

Tutor Experience

I have experience with providing academic guidance for my younger sibling and cousins from age 7-15 years old. I helped them with their understanding their homework and also revisions for exams. The subjects I have guided them are English, maths, science, Mandarin and Malay. Therefore I have an idea of how explain in a way that they would understand.

Academic Qualifications

In high school I completed IGCSE, then I did Monash Foundation and now I am doing a Bachelors in Psychology at the University of Sydney.
