What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students understand something they initially found difficult and seeing their confidence grow. I enjoy breaking concepts down into simpler steps and finding different ways to explain things depending on how each student learns. Itβs really rewarding when something finally clicks for them, and they realise theyβre capable of more than they thought.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I think my main strengths as a tutor are being patient, approachable, and able to explain concepts in a simple way. I understand that everyone learns differently, so Iβm willing to try different ways of explaining something until it makes sense. I also try to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes without feeling judged.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I think the most important thing a tutor can do is help a student become more confident and independent in their learning. Rather than just giving them the answer, a tutor should guide them through the process, help them understand where they went wrong, and teach them strategies they can use on their own in the future. Itβs also important to be encouraging and create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
