What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy most when I see students grow from struggling with or being hesitant about a concept to eventually understanding it and being able to apply it confidently. It gives me a joy and pride when I see that my support and explanations have helped a student understand something they previously found difficult or were not confident in. It feels rewarding to know that I have played a part in their progress.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My strengths are being patient and being able to explain a concept clearly. I think tutoring requires patience as students might not be able to understand a concept after the first explanation. Additionally, I have the ability to identify whether a student truly understands the concept or question. I would create a comfortable and supportive environment where students can express their confusion and willing to ask questions about concepts they donβt understand.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important thing would be being supportive and understanding each studentsβ needs. A tutor not only help students with concepts they are struggling with, but also supports and encourages students. Students sometimes lack confidence in their ability, hence providing encouragement and reassurance can help them become more confident in their learning. By being a good supporter with clear explanations, I believe students would be able to develop a better understanding on the concepts and improve their overall performance.
