What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing someone go from feeling confused or unsure about a topic to genuinely understanding it. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas, finding different ways to explain them and adapting my approach to how each student learns. For me, tutoring is also a two-way process, I enjoy getting to know how someone thinks and helping them build confidence along with their knowledge.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I think my biggest strengths are communication, patience and adaptability. My background in marketing and copywriting has taught me how to take complex information and make it clear, engaging and easy to understand. I also speak multiple languages and have worked with people from different backgrounds, which has made me comfortable adapting my communication style. Most importantly, I’m approachable and believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions without worrying about getting something wrong.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I believe a tutor's most important role is to build both understanding and confidence. It’s not enough to simply give a student the right answer, a good tutor helps them understand why the answer is right and gives them the tools to solve similar problems independently. A tutor should also listen, be patient and create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions. Ultimately, the goal should be to help the student become confident enough to eventually not need the tutor.
