What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
I enjoy seeing a student go from feeling confused or unsure about a topic to becoming confident in their understanding. I particularly enjoy explaining things in different ways until something finally clicks for them. I also like creating a comfortable environment where students feel they can ask questions without being embarrassed about getting something wrong. For me, tutoring is rewarding because I get to support someoneโs progress while also strengthening my own communication and understanding of the subject.
My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
I think my main strengths as a tutor are patience, communication and adaptability. I am comfortable explaining a concept in different ways depending on how a student learns best, rather than simply giving them the answer. I also try to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. As someone who is a student myself, I understand how frustrating it can be when something does not immediately make sense, and I know how important encouragement and clear explanations can be.
Most important things I can do for a student ๐
I think the most important things a tutor can do are listen, understand the studentโs individual needs, and help them build confidence. A tutor should create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes without feeling judged. It is also important to guide students towards understanding concepts for themselves rather than simply giving them the answers. Ultimately, I think a good tutor should help a student become more confident and independent in their learning.
