What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I find most rewarding about tutoring is how the help and guidance I provide to students shapes them as better equipped people for any problem they face.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I would have to say that one of biggest strengths is patience in the classroom which means that I don't rush a pupil to the solution. I'll locate the fourth explanation if someone requires the same concept conveyed in four distinct ways. Because arithmetic marks are often lost in little details, such as a misplaced negative, a calculation that skips a line, or incorrect writing, the detail is important. Instead of allowing a right response to conceal a wobbly approach, I pick things up and ask the student to correct them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

There are three things. The first is confidence; the majority of kids who require tutoring do not lack aptitude; rather, they have determined that they are "bad at maths," and this conviction causes more harm than any content gap. Teaching children how to work—setting out, checking, and knowing what to do when you're stuck—is the second. The goal being to eventually make a student independent of me. Being someone worth modelling is the third. It teaches more than an explanation if, I'm inquisitive in the subject, and composed when a challenge shows up, students will pick up that attitude.
