What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
What I enjoy most is seeing the moment when something finally clicks for a student. I like taking something they find confusing and explaining it in a way that makes sense to them, especially when they start to realise that they are capable of doing it themselves. I also enjoy getting to know how different students think and finding the approach that works best for them.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I think my biggest strength is my ability to adapt to different students. Through tutoring and coaching, Iβve learned that everyone learns differently, so I donβt expect one explanation or teaching style to work for everyone. Iβm patient, approachable and good at breaking down difficult concepts into simpler parts. Having achieved strong results myself, I also understand the importance of good study habits, consistency and knowing how to approach different types of questions.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I think the most important thing is to make a student feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. A tutor should not just give students the answers, but help them understand why something works so they can eventually do it independently. I also think a good tutor needs to recognise what each student needs and adapt their approach accordingly. Ultimately, I want a student to leave a session feeling like they understand the content better and are more confident in their ability to learn it.
