What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I would enjoy most about tutoring is helping students build confidence in a subject that can sometimes feel challenging. I've always enjoyed maths and I find it rewarding when I can explain a concept in a way that makes sense to someone else. Although I don't have formal tutoring experience yet, I'm excited about the opportunity to support students and help them succeed.

I think my strengths as a tutor would be my patience, communication skills, and enthusiasm for maths. I enjoy breaking down concepts into simple steps and helping people understand things at their own pace. While I don't have formal tutoring experience yet, I've recently completed my Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, which gave me training in supporting learners, adapting teaching approaches, and providing constructive feedback. Combined with my experience training staff in the workplace, I believe I'd be able to create a positive and supportive learning environment for students.

I think the most important things a tutor can do are build confidence, be patient, and make learning accessible. It's also important to create a supportive and trusting environment for the student.
