What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing people understanding concepts which they initially had trouble with and then being able to apply those concepts to eventually problem-solve on their own. I like helping people so that something that has been a source of difficulty and frustration for them becomes easier and more manageable and no longer such an obstacle in their daily lives.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Having often worked with children from a variety of backgrounds and in different contexts, such as sports coaching and nannying, I am able to communicate well with different people and help them to develop skills in a relaxed and patient manner.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

My primary goal as a tutor is to help the student engage with the content and give them tools so that they will eventually be able to solve problems without my help. I know I might not be able to get every student to like their subject but if I can at least help them to not hate, dread and procrastinate their homework because they now feel confident in their own abilities, I will have done my work.
