What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy tutoring because it aligns closely with my interest in maths and coding. I especially like helping younger students see the beauty of maths by breaking down difficult concepts and using illustrative examples to build their intuition. It is very rewarding when a student goes from finding a concept confusing to genuinely understanding why it works.My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I think one of my strengths is being attentive to each studentβs weaknesses and adjusting my teaching style around them. Rather than teaching every student in the same way, I try to identify the specific gaps in their understanding and focus on closing those gaps with explanations, examples and practice that suit them.Most important things I can do for a student π
I think the most important thing is to understand where the student is actually struggling and adjust the lesson around them. A tutor should help them build confidence, ask questions, and guide them through problems rather than simply giving them answers.
