What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy helping students understand something they initially find difficult and seeing their confidence improve. Through my Master of Teaching (Secondary), intensive learning sessions and school placement, I have seen how important it is to explain concepts clearly, check students’ understanding and provide individual support. I enjoy adapting my approach so students feel comfortable asking questions and can make progress at their own pace.

My strengths are patience, communication, organization and adaptability. During my teaching placement, I observed how students respond differently to learning activities and how important it is to check understanding and provide support when needed. I can explain ideas clearly, listen to students and adjust my approach depending on their learning needs.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important things are understanding the student’s individual needs, explaining concepts clearly and helping them build confidence. From my teaching studies and placement experience, I have learned that checking understanding, giving constructive feedback and encouraging students to think independently are also very important. A good tutor should create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking for help.
