What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
What I enjoy most about tutoring is figuring out how to explain something in a way that makes the most sense to each individual person. The most rewarding part is seeing that moment when everything finally clicks for the student and they understand something they were previously struggling with.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
One of my strengths is that I understand what it feels like to struggle with something. When I first moved to Australia, I couldnβt speak English, so I know what itβs like to feel confused or unsure when trying to learn something new. I also learnt mathematics in both Japan and Australia, which has given me experience with different ways of approaching and explaining problems.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I think one of the most important things a tutor can do is not just teach students concepts, but helping them build a strong foundation that allows them to work things out on their own. A good tutor should guide students through the thinking process rather than simply giving them the answer. This helps them develop confidence and problem-solving skills that they can use even when a tutor isnβt there to help.
