Did well on his last test. We are working on sequences. He has a good overall understanding of how to work through sequences so far. He is showing his working out as he goes which is great as it helps me see what he is doing if he needs assistance on questions. The more questions he does, the more he is able to work through.

He mostly just wants to confirm with me that he is doing the correct things and is understanding the questions correctly. Mostly making errors when writing down his final answers, he is calculating them correctly but accidentally writing them down wrong. The more complex geometric sequence questions were difficult at first but after we had gone over it together he was able to start working through them.

We worked on finishing his homework on sequences. He has a good overall understanding on how to work through them. He remembers to show his working out as he goes which is great. Once we have gone over something together he can then usually work through similar style questions while confirming with me that he was doing them correctly.

Struggled a bit with the word problems that required descriptive answers. We went over how to make sure he had all the points needed to fully answer the questions. Sometimes he struggles with the questions where he is asked to calculate the nth rule from a table that jumps up in terms. We went over how to work through the questions.

We worked on some past papers on sequences to help him start preparing for his next assessment. He has a good overall understanding of how to work through sequences and how to determine the various rules required. We made sure he had examples that he can reference for the questions eh struggled the most with. Just needs to watch for the common ratio calculation that he does this the correct way.

The more he practiced the more it made sense for him to work through the questions. We will keep working on these to help him build on this.

Has a test next week so we worked on making sure she was able to work through the topics that are going to be in the test. Worked through some past papers she has from class. She has a good overall understanding of how to work through the questions. Just wants to confirm with me that she was understanding things correctly. She shows her working out as she does the questions which is great as it makes it easier for me to assist her when she has made a small mistake accidentally.

We went over the formulas needed to be able to do this and made sure she had some examples she could reference when doing them.
