What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Working as a tutor for a part-time job is like a dream to pre-service teachers like me. Tutoring can be considered as a first step into the education career. From this job, students like me can earn a lot of experience which is useful for our later occupation. Moreover, tutoring can give me a great amount of time being with the kids. Hence, I can learn a lot about their understanding, thinking as well as their needs and ambitions. Such knowledge can prepare my mind for future teaching activities.

I am well-equipped with knowledge and skills suitable for any learning and teaching context. With a creative thinking, I always seek for an innovative teaching method that give student enjoyment in learning. Moreover, with a strong mathematical knowledge, I can support students in solving and understanding maths problems easily.

Tutor, for me, is not only a teaching career where you come in, provide the lesson and knowledge. Tutoring is a great process where tutor and students can interact and learn from each other. Furthermore, I believe that tutoring also means supporting students' learning. Supporting, in this case, is not only about aiding students with their learning or homework, but also about giving the students the purposes, the passionate, and the enjoyment of learning. That, I believe, is the most important things a tutor can do for a student.
