What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy about tutoring is the way that it gives students a chance to catch up on work or in some cases further themselves and get ahead in a certain field. The fact that it is often able to be taught using a less structured, curriculum heavy method means that it can also be fun. Most of all, because tutoring is typically a one on one arrangement, it allows for students and their tutors to form a rapport, leading to a more comfortable, less stressful learning environment.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor strongly link to my friendly, personable attitude. I strive to be somebody that the children I teach can consider a friend. I also have a deep understanding of the English language, having written my own short stories and novellas in my spare time. My mathematical understanding is also a strength, with it being one of the subjects I performed best within at High School.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing that a tutor can do for the student is to make them feel confident within their learning space, to boost their self esteem and help them come to the understanding that they can do anything that they put the effort into. By helping them obtain this confidence, tutoring becomes the act of tackling a certain mathematical concept or new form of grammar in a variety of different ways so that they can achieve a thorough understanding of what they are studying.
