What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I find it incredibly satisfying to help my students acquire skills that will help them throughout life, beyond HSC. I believe that a crucial component of education involves instilling a sense of logic and creative thinking that is relevant anywhere from an academic context to a professional or social environment. Being part of this development is rewarding to say the least.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe that one of my primary strengths as a tutor lies in being able to work with students from a variety of backgrounds. My volunteering experience (as a tutor) at university provided me with an opportunity to work with a diverse group of HSC students. This has allowed me to create a "code-book" of a variety of learning strategies that cater for individuals from any background.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

In my experience, most students possess the skills and competencies they need to do well in their chosen subjects. I find that most of these students fall short in showing their true mettle when encountering difficult or demanding situations. Thus, I believe that one of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is to instill a sense of confidence in their own abilities, to be able to persevere when faced with unknown difficulties.
