What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy teaching people and sharing my knowledge with other. I've had experience teaching people younger and older than me, and it was quite a delightful experience. Especially the satisfaction you gain from seeing someone improving with your help. I thrive on improving the confidence, motivation, reasoning, logic and academic skills students have before they enter high school or attend university to do what they love.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Honours) at Australian Catholic University. After receiving an H1 for Honours, I was fortunate to obtain employment as a medical researcher at two leading medical research Institutes in Melbourne. I have since started my PhD in Oncology research. Additionally, I love spending time educating and motivating the next generation to be the best they can be. With my 5 years of tutoring experience, I am able to form sound logic, and am cable of breaking down difficult questions to make it easier for students to understand. I believe this is exceptionally important as an english, math and science tutor. As a tutor I would say that my biggest strength is quickly realising a student's specific learning patterns and requirements. This way, I can adapt my methods to suit them specifically.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Monitor student's progress and adjust my teaching style and lesson plans accordingly. It is important as a tutor to understand that everyone learns at a different pace and therefore it is integral to treat every student as an individual.
