What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy seeing students starting to become passionate and excited about maths once they begin to answer the majority of questions correctly and develop the confidence to answer more difficult questions. I also like seeing the progress from when students start receiving tutoring to later in the year when maths is no longer a problem subject and they perform well on examinations.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Excellent expertise-99.05 ATAR. I am enthusiastic and patient. I will never give up on a student and continue explaining concepts in various ways until I see that they understand this concept and see which problems they can solve. I communicate effectively and have the necessary knowledge and mathematical ability from successfully completing Mathematics Extension 1 in year 12 to help students from primary to high school yr 12 regardless of their current mathematical literacy.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
An effective tutor should be able to give a student renewed self-confidence about their abilities. It is vital that students come out of these sessions with the skills to answer the questions themselves, unassisted.
