What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Inspiring students to love learning and to try their best in all aspects of their lives especially those that seem/appear challenging. I believe that providing quality education is one of the most important jobs in the world as at its core it is about educating and shaping our future people. Tutoring is generally a one on one experience which allows me to build a strong rapport with students. I get to literally watch that smile and feeling of achievement on their face when they do something for the first time or something they thought they never could do and it makes me feel fulfilled. I really like the feeling of helping others and knowing I'm making a difference to their education and future.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I feel my three biggest strengths are Patience, Flexibility, and Passion. However some other qualities I have are creativity, fast thinker, school teacher experience (I've been a classroom school teacher for the past five years so I know how teachers plan, mark/evaluate, and report), providing constructive feedback.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Provide multiple and possibly abstract strategies for solving problems, help develop problem solving skills and techniques, apply real-world perspectives and outlooks (so the student feels the skills being learned will be utilised in their life at some stage)
