What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy tutoring because I have a strong sense of achievement after teaching younger people a new concept, that way, I hope that they would enjoy knowing new things and I get a sense of joy after successfully teaching them something they don't understand

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am a persistent person and I don't give up easily. I believe my greatest strength lies in understanding when to use another approach when a student does not understand the "original" way of doing it.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Patience and kindness. At the end of the day, I think what matters the most is not how many percentages the student's grades have risen, but more about how "healthy" the relationship between the tutor and the student is so that they can always ask for help when needed

some revision with modular work on multiplication (i.e. negative times negative is positive etc...) same revision needed for some work when isolating the unknown (e.g. 2x-12=28 --> +12 on both sides, not -12...)

very impressed with how quickly Ruby understood (to some degree) about how to factorise from an expanded expression remembered how to collect like terms asking when is it ok to start simplifying things expanding brackets seem very manageable

Needs Improvement

not much today, maybe some work on understanding the "common factors" when factorising expression but technically this is outside of the course content.

a little help needed with understanding the positives/negatives of numbers and how they interact when numbers with different signs are added/subtracted/multiplied/divided... no real problematic areas though

Needs Improvement

generally very well done today, not easy to understand the concept of rearrangement within a couple minutes maybe a little bit of revision with arithmetic operations with positive/negative numbers (e.g. negative x negative = positive)
