What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Having graduated as a Biomedical Engineer and moving on to study Data Science, I am constantly inspired by gaining more knowledge and linking new knowledge to old to fill in gaps of information. I have always had a passion for learning and believe that the more I learn, the more I would love to pass that knowledge on to younger students and help them approach academia in a more enjoyable way. I enjoy structuring, organizing, planning and directing kids to guide them through their studies but also give them tips on how to manage stress and learn in a smart way.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my biggest strength as a tutor is my ability to communicate with students and understand their current level of understanding/ability and adjust my teaching plan accordingly or engage them in the plan to success. Its important that the student wants to achieve the academic goal/target that is being set and more importantly, is able to achieve that target without burning out. I also think my technical background, personality and positive attitude makes learning fun.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Maintain a positive attitude, take away the stress from learning, guide them and restructure their approach to studying when they come across roadblocks. Besides this it is essential that the tutor has good notes, visual ques, easy acronyms and memorization strategies, probes the student to think on their own and create a curiosity and interest in the subject.
