What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Although having no concrete experience tutoring, I have loved mentoring young kids. I love seeing their confidence grow as they learn more and more. It's a challenging but very rewarding experience, I think, for both the tutor and the child/youth. I think some of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is to listen to them and find ways of teaching that will be most effective for that particular person. It's so important to encourage the students throughout the whole process. To be patient, understanding and kind and to incorporate elements of fun into the whole process as well.
