What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The reason I got into teaching was to help students and this is no more apparent than the 'lightbulb moment'. Unfortunately; although enjoyable due to the amount of students and sometimes lack of willingness this does not happen as much as preferred. However; whilst tutoring you can experience this several times in one lesson and it is the most enjoyable experience to see students grow in knowledge and confidence.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am good and explaining things in a simpler way and due to previous experience have a good understanding of what concepts students are likely to get wrong and address them. I am also very comforting and believe that mistakes need to be made so they can be addressed and move past them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Listen; I find that in a school environment some students don't reach their potential as they are too afraid to address their misconceptions. This is much more comfortable on a smaller teaching ratio and as soon as students feel able to talk about their misconceptions they sore in ability and confidence.
