What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

In the profession of tutoring it’s important for the tutor to have passion for the subject and to impart the same to the student . In one of my recent tutoring experience with students of VCE maths, the student had the calibre to understand the fundamentals but lacked a genuine interest in the subject. I enjoyed explaining the fundamentals with some intriguing examples which aroused lot of zeal in the student for the subject. This resulted in a much better outlook of the student towards the subject and increased his efficiency and improving average score by 10%

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I always try to adapt and change my style with the individual student as I have experienced that every student has different level of understanding and also work at a different pace. I get connected with the students as I always start on a positive note and with words of encouragement irrespective of the current level and performance of the student. The correction and feedback from my end comes at a later stage once a rapport has been established with the student. I have the ability to make the subject interesting by quoting simple and practical examples which are easily understood .

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I understand that a tutor can significantly reduce the burden of academic chores off the shoulders of a student and hence support the efforts towards more productive activities. The success factor, to a large extend, depends upon the individual effort and determination of the student. However, tutor can ensure that the student's effort is used efficiently and for the right purpose.The time can be saved by the tutor for the student by creating effective notes, designing test papers, concept clarification along with motivation
