I find it very rewarding when my students are able to find the confidence to solve problems they had difficulty with independently after helping them understand the fundamentals behind the problem.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
When I am assisting a student with a topic or problem, I like to break it down into simple steps and give a clear detailed explanation of what is going on usually with drawing examples as an aid. I would regularly check up on my student to make sure we are on the same page so they aren't lost in the solving process. In addition, I also help them write out their solution in clear, logical manner as expected from their markers.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor needs to understand that every student has a different learning pace and should be patient with them when they are in the process of understanding a concept. To help the student understand, the tutor needs to show and provide reasoning for each step towards the solution. They also need to make themselves friendly, approachable and a good listener so the student isn't hesitant to ask questions.
