What do I enjoy most about tutoring?
The aspect that I enjoy the most about tutoring is that "aha!" moment when a student grasps a difficult concept, and discovers that it is not as difficult as it once appeared. I also enjoy the challenge of reaching that moment, as it can be a lengthy process for more complicated concepts.
My Strengths as Tutor
I believe that my communication skills are my greatest strength as a tutor. I can convey difficult ideas in simple terms in order to foster greater understanding of these concepts in my students.
Most important things I can do for a student
I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is be patient. Everyone learns at their own pace, and it can be frustrating for a student when they cannot quite grasp a tricky idea. It takes patience and understanding to help that student make positive progress.
