What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I really enjoy learning, and I believe that the learning process is not a compulsion, but should be engaging and involving. I learnt the difference when I transitioned from high school to university. Tutoring would be a great way to share knowledge, while also helping the youth and educating the next generation.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am very confident, clear, and direct in speaking. I am also very patient and willing to learn and adapt to each individual. I am passionate about learning new things, so I believe that I can also teach others to do the same.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that the most important thing a tutor can do for his/her students is to individualise the learning process. This means adapting to the individual's learning style, learning their strengths and weaknesses and tailoring the teaching style to cater for each, and keeping track of their progress. Instilling confidence in the student is also vital to their growth. My high school French tutor helped build my confidence up so that I could thrive in my French oral examinations, so I am aware of the impact it has.
