What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutoring feels good. In other words, helping other people learn & grow makes you feel satisfied inside. As tutoring forces you to think through the basics of the subject matter, it can make you feel more confident and better at the material you are teaching.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my main strengths are communication and social skills and patience. I feel i can connect to the students on a personal level, as I was a high school student not long ago, and am still a student at the moment. I also feel I am very patient and can keep trying to find a way to explain something in a way that the kid will understand.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think tutors fill a different role than teachers and parents, putting them in a unique position to support students. Personal relationships are very important to student success, the more connected a student feels to his or her tutor, the more the tutor creates trust and respect, which is essential for students to learn.
