What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The ability to get a fresh perspective from the student. It is amazing to see how students perceive concepts, especially since the time and context has changed since the time I studied those things. It also gives me a lot of satisfaction since I can gauge the happiness of the student in the moment (and improve or try new and better techniques), instead of waiting for appraisals.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Utmost patience is something I have honed, since I skipped a class when I was in school, and it took a lot of time, effort and practice for me catch up with the rest of the class. I can understand the pain and frustration of students when they get stuck. I have a genuine love for math and I try to instill it in my students, since math is the foundation of a lot of things that we build our careers in.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Help students build a structured approach to problem-solving. Solutions can be found online, but it is important to cultivate the right starting point in students' minds, since it is an important skill to have at every level of study.
