What do I enjoy most about tutoring?
I enjoy teaching the subject itself and making it easy for the students to understand, I am into this field by choice and not by chance, I love teaching and am passionate about this profession.
My Strengths as Tutor
In my 17 and odd years of teaching experience, I have taught for thousands of students and could bring a huge difference to their academic levels as far as Maths, Physics, and Chemistry are concerned, by creating interest in the subjects.
My main strength is to identify the areas where the student is lagging behind and teaching the fundamental concepts required and to build
student's confidence in the subject taught.
Many of my students who feared maths at school level went on to choose maths as their specialization at their University level after being tutored by me.
Most important things I can do for a student
The first and foremost thing a tutor should do is to create interest in the subject that is being taught. The reason is simple, when the student is interested in learning the subject, a teacher's job is a cakewalk. A teacher should make the student believe that subjects like maths are pretty easy and interesting to learn. This can be done by teaching the basic concepts as some students might be having a problem with their basics which is making them think that the subject is difficult. When once this is done there is no look back as far as the learning part is concerned.
