What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy creating a bond with the student and rather than having a teacher student relationship, I am learning with the student to create an understanding of the question / task at hand.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Having been tutored throughout my primary school and high school education, I believe my strength is having an understanding of the students position and perspective in what they want out of the sessions.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is create a good relationship and trust through understanding how the individual learns and understands and then from here can learn together to achieve the final result.

This week I focused on decimals with Aaron, dividing decimals by whole numbers and understand the concept behind this, and how it related to multiplication in order to fully comprehend the questions. We also completed a test on mathletics which covered fractions for the final time. Aaron displayed great improvement in his understnading and ability to tackle these questions with very little guidance needed. I am really impressed with how Aaron has been this year, always showing up each lesson and concentrating and this really shows in his ability and confidence in maths.
Aaron should keep up his drive and persistence in the year to come, I am looking forward to helping his through it.
Aaron can complete these questions confidently, he has improved greatly.

Aaron showed some difficulty in coming to terms with where the decimal place needs to move and in what direction depending on the question, this can be easily worked on next week.
Aaron has improved over the weeks with this topic, he can now complete these questions on his own with the method of moving the decimal place.
